I really don’t understand this magical number or 1200. If I have to eat a different amount of calories than the next person to lose weight, why would going into starvation mode automatically that if I eat less than 1200 calories per day continuously? I beleive some people will not go into starvation mode if they eat less than 1200 calories and I also believe starvation mode can start at a higher calorie range for others. For example my BMR is 2177. If I eat the minimum of 1200 calories per day and exercise and burn 350 calories per day 5x per week, I believe I will lose weight but it will not be for long term. I’m kinda starving my body of the nutrition and energy it needs. I honestly think that magical number is for people who do not exercise regularly. I tried the whole 1300-1350 calories and I was always hungry. Even after a gallon of water per day.
977 calorie deficit per day for food
1750 calorie deficit for exercise
Weekly deficit: 8589 calories which is 2.454 pounds per week.
So what happens when I plateau? Do I reduced my calories or try to burn extra calories at a lower body weight (which is harder). Who’s to even say my body will let go of the weight this fast with such a drastic calorie change.
Eh, I don’t like when people be like “black girls watch out cause white girls getting booty these days” cause to a black girl’s ears it kinda sounds like “watch out because your only value is your fetishized body and once that’s gone you’ll truly be worthless”
